- Comment. I believe that these stamps can be under license {{PD-Ukraine}}, because were published before 1951 and their author is unknown (see Image:Pidpilna poshta8 UPU.jpg). --Yakudza (talk) 22:46, 19 July 2008 (UTC)
- I don't believe {{PD-Ukraine}} could be applied to Image:Marka1 UPA.jpg, Image:Marka4 Vasylchenko.jpg and Image:Marka5 Chornovil.jpg because they were issued after 1951. And the design and polygraphic work for Image:Marka3.jpg looks like more modern, so {{PD-Ukraine}} is questionable for that image. --Michael Romanov (talk) 13:34, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- Well, Andrei, I have no doubts concerning Image:Marka4 Vasylchenko.jpg and Image:Marka5 Chornovil.jpg. The first one was issued for the 50th anniversary of the Vasylchenko's death, which was 1982. There is no chance it could be made in 1929 for the 50th anniversary of his birth because at that time he was a Soviet writer and could doubtfully be so famous among the Ukrainian Diaspora. The second stamp could be issued in the 1980's - 1990's because Chornovil joined the Ukrainian Helsinki Group in 1979 and founded the Ukrainian Helsinki Union in 1988. In 1951, Chornovil was only 14 years old and could not be, according to the stamp text, "fighter for human rights in Ukraine" and "promoter of the Helsinki Treaty jailed by USSR Government". --Michael Romanov (talk) 16:09, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
- The stamp on Image:Marka7 NTS.jpg was issued in 1953 because the Shevchenko Scientific Society was founded in 1873 and the stamp was issued for the 80th anniversary of this Society, which was 1953. --Michael Romanov (talk) 16:09, 20 August 2008 (UTC)
Kept all before 1951. Maxim(talk) 21:17, 27 December 2008 (UTC)
