Placeholder page that basically tells Toki Pona users to "go somewhere else, you're not welcome"; even though Toki Pona has an ISO code (tok). North of the Zambezi (talk) 16:54, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
- That's not what it says, but I should explain better. I'm a tokiponist, I run the unofficial wikipedia for toki pona, and I did a bunch of the toki pona translation of the UI. For some reason, when you change the UI language in settings to toki pona (like I do), the wiki software on Commons thinks the main page is called "lipu open" (the toki pona translation for main page.) So I created this as a redirect, then discovered it's impossible for the main page to be a redirect, then replaced it with an explanation, which translated reads
- why is it that when the computer is set to use toki pona the main page is here
- you want the Main Page
- At some point someone misunderstood and replaced the link to the Commons main page with a link to the Wikipesija (previously mentioned unofficial toki pona wikipedia) main page. I just reverted this.
- I think it makes sense for this page to stay, with english in comments to avoid future misunderstandings. Tbodt (talk) 19:26, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
