Source says "self-made" but also says "photo taken by one of the uploader's relatives" explicitly. So, not "self-made". --Moonian (talk) 10:13, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

P.S. To the uploader: please provide a genuine supporting source to prove that you are authorized to upload the image under those licenses, thanks. --Moonian (talk) 10:20, 30 July 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was not able to go to the event in which the actress was attending. So specifically my uncle went and took the photo with his camera. What do I put as my source if that is the case? And he did give me the photo and I now have the full right to use it anywhere I please. --staka 15:22, 4 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Giving you the photo does not automatically implies that it can be freely used. For instance, there are loads of photos on Flickr for you to view, but lots of them are All Rights Reserved. Also, as you have said above, the photo was taken by your uncle, not yourself, so you cannot claim that the image is "self-made".
I think you should ask your uncle if he agrees to put this photo in Commons under a free license. If yes, then please add the parameter "author=[Insert your uncle's name here]" to the {{Self}} template (or just simply remove it), add the appropriate license template(s) according to your uncle's wishes, and replace the stuff in "Source" and "Author" with (for example) "[Insert your uncle's name here], one of the uploader's relatives, taken on behalf of the uploader", thanks. --Moonian (talk) 05:28, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
I meant to say he also gave me the right to use the photo, and upload it to Commons along with the photo itself. Well I asked and he says he does not want his name up on the web. And also, he wants the same license as I have on the file page. May I just put "Taken by the uploader's uncle on behalf of the uploader"? I'll put it as that for now and if not, I'll change it again.. And I'll wait for your response to change what to add in "author=" parameter. --staka 19:45, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Ah, I see. In this case, I believe the image can be kept in Commons. I will withdraw the deletion request. (To Admins: please close this discussion, thanks)
I've replaced {{Self}} with {{AnotherAuthor}} (better than using {{Self}} with "author=" in this case). --Moonian (talk) 23:32, 5 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]
