Danger of copyright violation, the licenses on the Flickr source pages are unreliable. Uploaded from the bigdogLHR Flickr account,[1] where they are licensed CC BY 2.0. These licences are unreliable because this Flickr account does not appear to be controlled by the artist or by the magazine publisher.

These are Kaiju-style illustrations by Yasushi Torisawa. The Flickr descriptions say that they were published in the summer 2008 edition of Uchusen magazine. A website gives Torisawa's date of birth as 1962,[2] so they are too recent to be public domain. There are all available on a webpage dated 2009, before their uploads to Flickr or to here.[3]
