Ibiblio Vietnam

There are a number of files tagged with the deprecated {{PD}} tag sourced to http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/multimedia/pictures/asia/vietnam (example: File:Conglang.jpg). The files cite the general ReadMe for that section, http://www.ibiblio.org/pub/multimedia/pictures/asia/vietnam/README, which invites public contributions and says Please note however that according to sunsite.unc.edu rules, all contributions should either belong to the public domain, or have a copyright allowing distribution. The individual files don't seem to give any details. This does not seem enough to consider the files PD (if it is, we still need to figure out how to replace the deprecated {{PD}} tag). Note2: some of the files are photos of artworks, so {{PD-Art}} may apply - if we can show the artwork is PD-old.

Some of the ibiblio art files have already had such tags added, without any evidence; File:Khoathan.jpg is not encouraging that the details are correct, since it's signed Tô Liên 199? (the ? is cut off). Rd232 (talk) 15:29, 30 September 2012 (UTC)

Deleted: I have kept some from early enough dates so they are surely PD, but deleted the rest. The fact that the source site tells uploaders that everything must be PD does not in any way guarantee that they are, as we surely must understand here. .     Jim . . . .
