IOC 1928 images

No proof of PD-old. Images where made in 1928 and are published by IOC. For PD-US they are too young. And since the author (or authors) is not known and would have to die within 10 years, it can't be savely assumed that the images are in public domain already. I also don't think that IOC has released them into PD (their website has the standard 'All rights reserved'). --Cecil (talk) 03:30, 31 August 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted No info on the creators, and 1928 is too close to asume they may have died before 1939 (70 years ago). By the Precautionary principle, by not knowing if the images are in public domain or not, we asume by default that they are. However, those images can be uploaded again (or request to be undeleted) if their creators are finally found and have indeed died within the timeframe needed for their works to be in public domain.
