Flemish Student Fraternities

[edit]

These are all unused. The corresponding articles have been removed from the Dutch Wikipedia (mostly because of both notability and copyright issues). Most of these files are improperly sourced and of low quality. --Lemmens, Tom (talk) 10:16, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

But are badly constructed unsourced coats of arms of ephemeral student fraternities really worth remembering? :p Lemmens, Tom (talk) 17:25, 4 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Comment The File:SigillumVlaVla.jpg is a big file, 2172×2172, but unused. This is similar to bad quality File:LogoVlaVla.png, which is used, but small (761×759). It is good to replace and delete the little ugly file. Taivo (talk) 10:26, 8 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
Point taken. I've swapped the files. Lemmens, Tom (talk) 10:47, 8 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Keep - Bad quality and not being used on nl.wiki are both no reasons for deletion. The articles on the Dutch wiki may return or somebody might someday want to create a list in which these files may be used. Millions of files are not being used... so why should these really be deleted? In case of copyright violations it is okay, but not being used a not a valid reason. They are copyright violations. I only listed these specifically because they were unused, what would be left would be a more manageable quantity to gain OTRS permission for. That is also why I didn't just tag them for speedy deletion (because these clearly qualify for it). I should have tagged these as speedydelete, or have notified an admin. Deleted: Speedy delete. Fair use material is absolutely prohibited on Commons. FASTILY 09:33, 11 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]
