Unclear copyright status + unlikely to be own work. Uploads (mostly in 03.2014) by +18k-edits user Sonia Sevilla (talk · contribs). I expected some counter-arguing by uploader at Commons:Deletion requests/File:Mohammad Reza Bateni.jpg but all +/- 20 files got deleted without any reaction. All files below were - before upload date in Commons - previously published by several photographers. False claim of authorship. Permissions needed.

These files are all of a small size and often somewhat blurred. They are all claimed as "own work" however in those that have EXIF information I can count at least 10 different cameras. This and the fact that there is a history of uploading questionably licensed images suggests to me that there is no proof at all that these can be freely licensed by the uploader. I've only looked at the most recent uploads - there are questions about others too I think.

Times changes. Computers changes. so metadates will lost. they are old , some taked by in 2010 or 2011. diffrent cameras? this is personal. everyone can have 100 cameras. i said in my pages: All files i upload exactly not taked by myself, taked by friends... . but they are mine. they taked and presented to me for uploading here. --Sonia Sevilla (talk) 10:36, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

this files are cropped, that mean they WAS uploaded by another user. i focused on face. --Sonia Sevilla (talk) 10:39, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

what u said about this last cropped files? nothing.many user crop and focus on face and upload again. u like a robot tagged all my last files. --Sonia Sevilla (talk) 11:14, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
File:Rajaa Alem -joint winners of the 2011 Arabic Booker Prize (Cropped).jpg and File:Dalil Boubakeur (Cropped).jpg should be okay. The sources you provided were a bit hard to follow, but I've fixed that. You are still claiming to be the author and copyright holder of File:Ahmad Alam ul-Hoda 1 (cropped).jpg and File:Ahmad Alam ul-Hoda 2 (Cropped).jpg on the file descriptions. If they are crops of someone else's work, you must attribute the legitimate author and copyright holder. You also blanked out the notices pointing to this discussion despite clear instructions not to do so. Don't do that again. LX (talk, contribs) 13:31, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Those other two are cropped from Sonia Sevilla’s own originals (not listed in this DR), now aptly linked with {{Extracted from}} and {{Extracted image}}. -- Tuválkin 14:55, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I vote  keep for the four crops, always dependant, of course, on the status of their originals. -- Tuválkin 14:57, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The uploader is adamant that these are their own works. So we are to believe that the uploader personally created:

Yes, one person may have 100 cameras, but it's unusual and unlikely. Most people who own a Nikon D300S wouldn't downgrade to its predecessor D300. Most people don't switch back and forth between incompatible DSLR systems. Most people who own a professional grade Canon EOS-1Ds Mark II (or Canon EOS 5D Mark II) wouldn't trade down to a Canon EOS 40D (or Canon EOS 50D) from one week to the next. Most people with an already aging iPhone 5 wouldn't swap it out for an even older Galaxy S3. This uploader has a demonstrably liberal relationship with the truth, and these claims just aren't credible. LX (talk, contribs) 13:20, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Well researched and summarized, LX, thank you. It should be noted that Sonia claims some photos were taken using borrowed devices, but things like this don’t help her case for a developed understanding of copyright and licensing. Sonia has had, from my part, at least, a large extra amount of god-faith assumption and sympathy, but it is wearing off. -- Tuválkin 15:11, 6 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
keep It seems that all these pictures are taken by one person. All are celebrities of a nation. --Doostdar (talk) 13:21, 11 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
