There is no evidence that any of these photographs were actually made by a government employee. Many representatives have their official portraits taken by private portrait photographers because they think they will get a more pleasing likeness. Also note that the source pages are all marked "(c) House of Representatives".

Keep I don't think that the possibility that the images were not taken by the official government photographer meets the threshold of Commons:Precautionary principle which requires evidence, not miniscule theoretical possibilities. Keep At least for the 18th and 19th Congress images. These images follow the light blue background template. These are commissioned portrait specifically for the House of Representatives.Hariboneagle927 (talk) 13:33, 16 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
