Artworks by Willem van Oyen (d. 2004). Imho none of them is covered by Dutch FOP, which is limited to the interior of transport infrastructures and does not inclue applied art. (The most dubious cases are the artworks located in town halls, but townhalls should be excluded from Dutch FOP imho.) Consequently, the permission of the legal successors of the artist is needed. Moreover, the authorship of the photographs could also be questioned (old photographs, no EXIF data).

Please be advised that these photographs were supplied and uploaded by the heirs of the artist (his sons). The photographs were originally made by the artist Willem van Oyen himself and his colleagues, and are now in possession of his heirs. Van Oyen was self employed. His business in which the artworks were created still exists today. He was succeeded by his sons, two of whom contributed to the execution of several of the artworks in town halls. His eldest son continues the business to this day. Information about the validity of the artworks can be obtained from this company, BEVO glaskunst, located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands, or from the architects of the town halls who hired Van Oyen to design and execute the artworks.
- Hello. Thank you for your message. The permission of the legal successors of Willem van Oyen should be sent through COM:OTRS. BrightRaven (talk) 16:51, 22 December 2014 (UTC)
- According to OTRS this is not necessary. Uploader is heir and owner of the pictures.
- Delete Uploader is one of several sons and no evidence that photographs were exclusively assigned to his business. When ownership by succession is joint, the OTRS permission must be from all heirs or through their authorized representative. 71.81.154.113 14:30, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
Deleted: We have no evidence that Saflieni is an heir of the copyright holders (either copyright in the photos or in the original works). If that can be proved, evidence should be submitted to OTRS. If the original copyright in the photographs is now jointly owned by the sons, we would need evidence of both ownerships to OTRS. We would need similar evidence regarding current ownership in the copyright in the original works. They are interesting images and it would be nice if the relevant evidence could be supplied. I am happy to help with more specific details of what would be needed if Saflieni would care to get in touch. MichaelMaggs (talk) 22:15, 28 December 2014 (UTC)
