It is unclear if the files were allowed to be uploaded under their present license by their copyright holders: missing COM:PERMISSION. To uploader: Please follow procedure laid out in Commons:OTRS. - Takeaway (talk) 11:10, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Takeaway I had permission from relevant parties to upload a file that I uploaded on Wikimedia Commons. so I beg Takeaway to reconsider the abolition of the files I upload (do not delete them), because these files to complete the article which I edited. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raudalkhudri (talk • contribs) 11:03, 30 March 2017‎ (UTC)[reply]

Raudalkhudri, to ensure that the copyright holders have given their consent, please follow the procedure as set out in COM:OTRS. Wikimedia Commons can not rely on the uploader's say-so concerning copyright issues. - Takeaway (talk) 11:10, 30 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Takeaway, I have sent an email in accordance with the existing procedures at COM:OTRS. Furthermore, what should I do? even from some of the files to be deleted is my own work previously unpublished except I uploaded on Wikimedia Commons. — Preceding unsigned comment added by Raudalkhudri (talk • contribs) 06:43, 31 March 2017‎ (UTC)[reply]
  •  Delete per nom. Let OTRS undelete them if permissions are legit. Even after being blocked for "Uploading unfree files after warnings", this uploader has continued to do so. Since 06:43, 31 March 2017 (UTC), all this uploader has done is remove delete tags, remove additional files listed in the idw notice, remove most of the files listed in this DR, and remove this DR's transclusion from Commons:Deletion requests/2017/03/30. None of those actions are acceptable, and all of them appear to be in bad faith. I have reversed all of them, tagged all the files with {{OTRS pending}}, and warned the user in the strongest possible terms. @Magog the Ogre: , as the previous blocking admin, I thought you should know about these actions.   — Jeff G. ツ 14:35, 31 March 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks, Jeff. I have no special advice; I noticed copyright violations so I blocked. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 04:37, 1 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Falsely attributed to the General Elections Commission of the Republic of Indonesia though images are owned by different political parties.

Hi, Patrick Rogel. Previously I thanked you for monitoring my activities and contributions in the Commons. I honestly object with the delete tag that you attached to some photos that I uploaded in the Commons, while the photo license is the public domain because it was published by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia (with the domain .go.id, I use the template PD-IDGov) through the official website of the Republic of Indonesia General Election Commission (http://www.kpu.go.id). If you see similar photos also published by other websites such as http://pemilu.asia/, https://pintarmemilih.id/, https://jariungu.com/, or https://kbr.id/, because they took their sources (including official photos of legislative candidates) from the official website of kpu.go.id, and their licenses remain with the Government of the Republic of Indonesia. Actually, I and other users from Indonesia not the first time upload some photos to Commons with sources from the official website published by the Government of the Republic of Indonesia such as kpu.go.id, dpr.go.id, dpd.go.id, indonesia.go.id, or other sites. Even most of the photos of the Governor or former governor in Indonesia uploaded to the Commons are publications from the official sites of their respective provincial governments. Photographs of DPR and DPD members are also the results of publications from the official website dpr.go.id and dpd.go.id. All of them use the PD-IDGov template and so far it is fine. With all due respect, I hope you can delete the delete tags that you added to some of the photos that I uploaded according to the reasons I mentioned above. :) Raudalkhudri (talk) 17:45, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
@Raudalkhudri: I think it's exactly the contrary: for example the General Elections Commission is using KDR party images (which have been deleted already by an Administrator) as well of images of other parties. Nevertheless an Administrator will find out which files have been published first and who has copied who. --Patrick Rogel (talk) 20:53, 21 July 2019 (UTC)[reply]
