Courtesy deletion request. In 2011, I uploaded these photos with my former account (later renamed to User:Mondephile). I was young and inexperienced, so did not heed the potential problems these files could make for me in the future. Now, especially since the escalation of the political conflict in the region and even the risk of a war, I am indeed concerned about these photos and their risk for my security and safety. My real identity is known to some fawiki users and they have not felt ashamed for abusing these photos as a weapon to "win" petty wiki arguments at the expense of my security and peace of mind in the real world. These photos were the only free ones for some years (many photographers and photojournalists took pictures and sold them to photo news agencies, but I published them under a CC license), but since 2016 several Iranian news agencies have started to publish their entire content (including photo collections) under a free license, so their previously unfree files became free overnight ({{Fars}}, {{Mehr}}, and {{Tasnim}} to name a few) and there may be more in the future (according to some sources, Irna, the oldest and one of the biggest news agencies in Iran, will be the next Iranian news agency to switch to CC). Therefore, there are many available alternatives and there will be many more. My point is that the nominated photos are replaceable. I once asked for their deletion via OTRS (ticket:2017042610001474), but I was told that I should file a public deletion request. I humbly ask the Commons community to do a favor to one of its established members and delete these photos. Thanks for your time and consideration.

Comment Most of the photos are used and some even in multiple projects. By principle, if there are multiple alternative photos, then all ocurrences can be replaced. Taivo (talk) 17:35, 17 August 2019 (UTC)}}[reply]
