Unknown photographer, no proof of being published.

Oppose - No proof of being published? Could someone please clarify? Please see Commons:Deletion requests/File:Governor-General Pierre Ryckmans.jpg, where I've already had to defend a photo from this same collection. Indy beetle (talk) 05:27, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
That's only the cover. Where did you get the information that the photographs are in that book? --Hedwig in Washington (mail?) 06:42, 16 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The closest library having this book seems to be +250 miles away from me. :-(
Here is a digital copy of the book uploaded onto the internet: [1]. I believe I included it in the source section for most, if not all, my uploads. It has all the photos. - Indy beetle (talk) 02:51, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I did see this website, doesn't really help. :( --Hedwig in Washington (mail?) 04:15, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
Could you please clarify? Are you saying that that is not sufficient enough proof? Indy beetle (talk) 10:36, 17 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
  • The Author field says clearly Unknown, so no reason to use Unknown photographer as part of the deletion rationale. The description and the source page contains enough information about the source and age of these photos. In doubt, go to the physical location where found and ask for the publication instead. --Amitie 10g (talk) 01:50, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The website is not a copy of the book, just some text with photographs inserted. That is no proof. Where's the proof that the photographs have been published in the book? Amitie, keep those half-wit suggestion to yourself, just blowing up the discussion by adding nonsense is disruptive. --Hedwig in Washington (mail?) 02:24, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The webpage is transcribed from the book. ibiblio.org follows this pattern with other uploaded books. See those page numbers? They match up with those in the real book, including pages with pictures on them. - Indy beetle (talk) 04:42, 18 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: see here for a version where those images are in context of the book. --Sebari – aka Srittau (talk) 02:06, 23 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]
