A handful of these may be in scope and possibly even useful (e.g.File:World War I Memorial in lobby of New London City Hall, 181 State St, New London, CT 06320.jpg, the Jose Lerchundi crypt images); I don't have the patience to work my way through & look at all of them, though. - Jmabel ! talk 00:33, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Keep I came here from File:Gravemarker of Col. Henry "Harry" Marten, Regicide.jpg. I know that this is only British history, not anywhere important to Commons, but this is one of the guys who killed our king. Would Benedict Arnold get deleted equally as "personal photo"? Looking quickly at a few others I see File:Dick Van Dyke and Ian Oliver Martin on 1 April 2014.jpg, which is a selfie, but with Dick Van Dyke, so has some merit. Then I saw File:Flag adopted by the New England Governors' Conference in 1998.jpg, which might be of more interest to vexillologists than most, but still seems to meet encyclopedic scope.

So, three out of three. That's no basis for wiping out an editor here (who is hardly likely to continue contributing here afterwards either). Andy Dingley (talk) 09:48, 3 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]

I looked through most of them and the ones pertaining to New London, Connecticut were ok, mainly because there are very few images of the city of New London. Most photos were personal with information not relevant to others. The school class photo reveals the name of everyone in the class; I think this photo definitely should be deleted. Too much info for those who may not want their image on the Commons. Most of the others don't provide enough information to categorize them and are trivial photos anyway. Plus, those in Category:Monica's State Street Diner, File:Flag of the Town of Groton, Connecticut, United States of America, on Saturday, November 25, 2017.jpg and perhaps File:Free Range Eggs at the The Groton Family Farm, Groton, Connecticut. A photograph by IAN OLIVER MARTIN.jpg. Another of the same diner, File:De Corazon Dije Te Quiero, Nicole.jpg gives personal info in an annotation.
