Wikipedia severely lacks content about Paraguay, especially its history and politics. I'm trying to make knowledge available and accesible, for educational purposes, but everytime I do some mod deletes something that is allowed for other (first world) countries. Ping Guyermou: Official files from most U.S. states are constantly deleted here as copyright violation, so this is not about how rich or powerful a place is. Who holds the copyrights to these photos, and how were they licensed? Photos uploaded to social media sites usually are copyright, all rights reserved, as are videos. Does the government of Paraguay have a policy that all official portraits are released under Creative Commons licenses that allow them to be used commercially, as required by COM:LICENSING?
The other thing for you to consider is that Wikipedias have their own policies, separate from Commons' policies, and that some of them permit fair use, which does not exist on this site. So you might be able to upload some fair use images locally to some Wikipedias, following their fair use policies, which you should look up and follow carefully. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 18:02, 30 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]
