From the looks of them, these are all newly created versions of old photographs, but "enhanced" by some AI process. Not very successfully in my opinion looking at the overly smooth plasticky faces. I say these are inferior duplicates and falsifications we should not and do not want to keep, and they should all be deleted. The files were all inserted into various WP articles, replacing the original versions, so when deleting them as duplicates they should be redirected to the original versions.

Keep I disagree, the grain has been removed, and borders strengthened. So long as they are marked properly as a derivative, they should be kept. We have thousands of restored/upscaled/colorized images. We only ask that the unretouched original is also stored, and images are categorized as restored/upscaled/colorized or other derivative categories. --RAN (talk) 14:52, 24 May 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Some of them look very good (e.g. File:Maria Letícia Bonaparte, Duquesa de Aosta fix.jpg), probably better than the original, but others (e.g. File:Amadeo, king of Spain.jpg) ruined many details of the original picture. Info: Marck Giannini (talk · contributions · Move log · block log · uploads · Abuse filter log) block user is a blocked sockpuppet of Giorgio Pallavicini who uploaded much more of the same, beginning a couple of days after Pallavicini's block and continuing until they too were blocked. Deleted: per nomination and discussion. Replaced on all articles and on Wikidata.
