[edit]

Incorrect licensing on all these. Most if not all are copyright violations.

  •  Keep the following images:
File:Wladislaw Zelenski.jpg as {{PD-old-100}} as the photographer Walery Rzewuski died in 1888.
File:The Half Of It, Dearie, Blues.jpg as {{PD-US}}, published in 1924.
File:La-La-Lucille disc 1919.jpg as {{PD-US}}, published in 1919.
File:Jacob Rosenhain ongeveer 1860.jpg as {{PD-old-assumed}}. While there is no author information, it is not plausible for a work created in 1860 to have an author that died fewer than 70 years ago.
File:Handtekening Wilhelm Taubert.jpg as {{PD-old-assumed}} and {{PD-text}}. Simple signature and from 1840.
File:Wilhelm Taubert.jpg as {{PD-old-assumed}} from 1840.
File:Tell Me More bladmuziek.jpg as {{PD-US}}, having been published in 1925.
File:Liberty Theatre NY.jpg as {{PD-US}}, having been published in 1910.
File:Label I'll Build a Stairway to Paradise.jpg as {{PD-US}}, having been published in 1922.
File:Poster The French Doll 1922.jpg as {{PD-US}}, having been published in 1922.
File:That Certain Feeling Disc.jpg {{PD-France}}, collective work (cover art) 70 years after publication.
File:Affiche Girl Crazy 14 oktober 1930.jpg as {{PD-US-no notice}}, poster with no copyright notice published before 1978.
File:XL117717 Philip-Cipriani-H-Potter.jpg as {{PD-US}}, having been published in 1900.

  •  Keep:
File:Sir Arthur Somervell.jpg anonymous prior to 1901
File:George Gershwin Song-Book.jpg {{PD-text}} text based book cover
File:Shall We Danse Poster.jpg {{PD-US-no notice}}, poster with no copyright notice published before 1978.
File:I've Got a Crush on You Disc.jpg {{PD-text}} text based record label, the logos predate 1926
File:Soon Sheet Music.jpg {{PD-US-no notice}}, poster with no copyright notice published before 1978.
File:The Foursome.jpg, 1937 but I cannot find a renewal notice for any image that fits this

I endorse your reasoning for these and vote  Keep on most of the items you have mentioned. I do vote  Delete, however, on File:Shall We Danse Poster.jpg. I found a higher resolution version and it does indeed have a copyright notice. Similarly, File:Soon Sheet Music.jpg is not actually a poster. It is a collection of sheet music and so I am pretty sure there is a copyright notice within the published work. IronGargoyle (talk) 17:41, 29 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Comment none of these images is licensed correctly. As such they are all still unsourced copyvios. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 15:15, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Really? I personally don't think it makes sense to replace tags until the discussion is concluded (so any discussants can see the full context of the files as they were when originally tagged). Do you think any of the arguments either myself or Richard Arthur Norton are making are invalid? IronGargoyle (talk) 15:48, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Yes his logic is fine. But we need to update the licensing. Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 16:41, 23 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per nomination, kept those as discussed. In addition kept File:78 clap-yo-hands-aplaude roger-wolfe-kahn-and-his-orchestra-ira-and-george-gershwin gbia0015859b itemimage.jpg and File:I've Got a Crush on You Disc.jpg, as these are below TOO imho. -Ellywa (talk) 14:50, 4 April 2022 (UTC)[reply]
