@Elcobbola: , some of the sources:
  1. File:Primeira-Dama Maria Thereza Goulart.jpg is from 1963 (58 years old) and by Alberto Ferreira, (maybe him?). Public domain only in 2034-01-01;
  2. File:Princesa Leopoldina de Bragança, década de 1860.jpg is by Joaquim José Insley Pacheco (1868) source (maybe this one is a better source, but I can't open it). Falls under Template:PD-BR-1937;
  3. File:Pedro II do Brasil, 1887.jpg seems to be the same of File:Pedro II circa 1887.jpg (public domain);
  4. File:Princesa Leopoldina de Bragança, filha de Pedro II do Brasil.jpg replicates File:Leopoldina de Bragança (Duquesa de Saxe-Coburgo-Cota, Princesa Imperial do Brasil) (Coleção Francisco Rodrigues FR-09573).jpg (public domain);
  5. File:Imperatriz Teresa Cristina, década 1880.jpg is sourced as public domain by historyofroyalwomen.com. I have a feeling that it is an improved version of File:Teresa Cristina of the Two Sicilies 1888.jpg (public domain);
  6. Google only track the Wiki as the source of File:Imperatriz Teresa Cristina do Brasil, foto colorizada, década de 1880.jpg. I'm not sure if it falls into Public Domain since we don't know if the original was in color or if someone colorized it;
  7. A sepia version of File:Princesa Imperial regente, Dona Isabel, 1887.jpg is credited as being by Marc Ferrez in 1887 here (" A Princesa Isabel em fotografia de 1887 (Crédito: Marc Ferrez/In: Fotografia no Século XIX, Editora Capivara)").
  8. The page TV Imperial credits File:Princesa Imperial regente, Dona Isabel, 1887.jpg as being colorized by "S.A.I". I couldn't find anything else about what "S.A.I" means, so I'm not sure about letting it on Commons.

Kept: Colorization creates a copyright -- a 19th century image was not in color. I deleted unused inferior duplicates. .     Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 15:45, 21 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
