Historical photos. Proper author/date/country of creation information should be supplied to determine copyrights status and license tags corrected.

Hi Eugene,

Hope you are well. In regards to the nominated files for deletion;

The below 3 files can be deleted any time, asp really and without any discussion, 2 of them are not used for quite a while on GFK Tikvesh page.


But for the other 6 files I would kindly ask you if you can advise or help to tag the correct licence and to resolve the issue. Obviously they are very old photos, some of them even older then 70 or 80 years, and the author or the date are unknown, so I'm not sure what can be done for those files to be used. Hi Eugene,

Thanks a lot for your prompt reply. I think some of the nominated images are in public domain. We can definitely determine the approximate date of creation. I had a close look at the link which you suggested, do you think the following License tag Template:PD-North Macedonia can help in any way, as some of the images are definitely published before 1946 or 1971. OK great, just to clarify before I start adding info on the images as I don't want to make some unintentional mistake and make it worse, would it be sufficient if I add the above mentioned tag and in source specify a football portal or forum where the file is already in use, also I'll add a year which the photo is created.
