- Signing your posts is required on talk pages and it is a Commons policy to sign your posts on deletion requests, undeletion requests, and noticeboards. To do so, simply add four tildes (~~~~) at the end of your comments. Your user name or IP address (if you are not logged in) and a timestamp will then automatically be added when you save your comment. Signing your comments helps people to find out who said something and provides them with a link to your user/talk page (for further discussion). Thank you.
'Deleted: That may be, but in order to have the photos on Commons we will need a free license from the actual publisher of the book via OTRS. - Hello. I talked with the user in question (with the IP adress 205.236.3.233 = Denis Guy Boivin) on fr:Discussion:La Présentation about this problem. He's very upset about his photos always being deleted, and assures me he's the one who took them.
- He said above that he used the photos to illustrate his book, so i told him about the OTRS procedure. Can an OTRS volunteer check if he send any permission email? I don't know if he really did it. He told me last time he would "try", but he seems a bit lost and not at ease with "internet stuff". Maybe he didn't understand correctly. Delete The OTRS permission is good, but there is still the fact that, as I noted above, these are in PDF format which is not a permitted format for photographs. If M. Boivin wants to upload these as JPGs, fine, but they cannot stay as PDFs. I also note that these have been uploaded twice after deletion, both times in violation of Commons rules. . Jim . . . . - Hi Jim. He uploaded it twice after deletion because he didn't really understand why they were deleted (he doesn't seem to understand english very well) and how the OTRS procedure worked. Is it okay if he uploads the JPG files as "new versions" of these ones, or does he have to upload them as whole new files (and if so, how does it work for the OTRS authorization, does he have to ask again Gratus to put it in the "Permission" field?) - Although he may or may not be able to physically upload a JPG with the extension PDF, it will create problems, so, yes, he must upload two new files with the jpg extension. Once the files are uploaded, he (or you) can copy and paste the whole file description, including the OTRS template into the new files. If you drop a note on my talk page, I will check to see that it's right. Note that any use of the files on WP will have to be changed from PDF to JPG. . Jim . . . . - Hello again, Jim. Denis Guy Boivin told me he failed to change them into JPG and asked me to do it for him. I hope it's not a problem if I uploaded them in his place? Here are the new files : File:Église de La Présentation.jpg and File:Maison aux quatre silos (La Présentation).jpg. I hope I didn't make a mistake.
