Claimed to be an own work of Breugelius made at the fr:Université de Liège. In a deletion request, he identifies himself as Jean-Philippe Moutschen. According to a discussion at French Wikipedia, no one has been able to locate any publications made by him, although there is a claim on his talk page that he has worked for 15 years at the "laboratory for genetic toxicology" (labo de Toxicologie génétique) at the university. According to the discussion on French Wikipedia, this laboratory doesn't exist. People would usually not work as a researcher at a university for 15 years without publishing anything. Additionally, he appears nowhere in registers from the university, not even as a student.

My conclusion is that this is not something which he has made himself at the Université de Liège since it seems that he has not worked there, so the source listed on the file information pages has to be wrong at least to some extent. It could have been created by someone else at the Université de Liège (in which case we have no evidence of permission) or it could have been created by the uploader somewhere else. It has been suggested at the French Bistro and my talk page that the photos might have been taken from a publication by François Stockmans (1904-1986), but nothing is available on the Internet.

In either case, if you take a look at the uploader's talk page, you will see that it is full of notices about copyright violations. In fact, the administrator blocking him for a week had to delete a number of those notices because too many tempates appeared on his talk page, preventing the blocking notice from being displayed.

Given the above arguments, I find it likely that these files are copyright violations.

The uploader claims to be Jean Philippe Moutschen, Vincent Lagardère, Luc Pilmeyer, Joël Lejeune, Frédéric Belly, Joseph Bartolome, Damien Duverger, Tiziano Candelieri, Stephane Lagalere, Nathalie Journe and Bertrand Veau at the same time. Based on this and previous copyright violation, I have serious doubts any of these files are actually own work.

Hi. Ok for deletion. As most of these files are either "of poor or mediocre quality" or "identifiable people" or "same subject", it is not worth the risk of copyright violation. --Salix (talk) 12:39, 17 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
