It's interesting how it's possible to acquire copyrights for books in public domain, so please take a look on Commons:Copyright rules by territory for relevant country (India?) for proper public domain tags. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 15:02, 10 December 2019 (UTC)

@Neechalkaran: , Please add the {{Book}} instead of Information templates, during uploading a book. Please the proper {{PD-TamilGov}} in each file for licence verification, after that I or any reviewer can review your file as per guideline. Then I can clear the OTRS process. Dear @EugeneZelenko: , please wait for a few days to update the file description. Most the file comes from Tamil Virtual Academy, who have released their all books to PD. Thanks. As I wrote several times, this tag is incorrect. Books may be in public domain because of date of publication/date of author's death. See Commons:Copyright rules by territory for relevant country. --EugeneZelenko (talk) 21:17, 28 January 2020 (UTC)

@EugeneZelenko: Thanks for your patient. No, Books are not in public domain due to the expiry of validity. These books are declared as copyleft(i.e. Nationalized) by a Government order in few decades ago with proper compensation paid to the publisher. Recently Government has also digitized the book and release it with announcement. so few books may not older than 60 years. I feel these are special. so please advise the best tag, if existing tag is not applicable. cc @Jayantanth: -Neechalkaran (talk) 13:12, 30 January 2020 (UTC)
