Personal photos, out of project scope.

Useful, unless we have many better pics of the same thing. Disneyland? --Pitke (talk) 20:56, 6 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Spaceship Earth

I think all of these are useful unless I've commented otherwise. However there might be copyright issues. I'm not familiar with US laws. Nearly all photos feature museum displays or replicas with life-like human dolls. --Pitke (talk) 15:18, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Others
  • Pretty ok photo of an interior of what seems like a household product event. Hard to get pics like these without obvious issues with person rights, copyright issues, etc. --Pitke (talk) 20:37, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

This deletion request is too general. Certainly there are many personal photos among these, but there are also some of educational value, for example File:Brown Derby Cobb Salad (2440195933).jpg and File:Pirates of the Caribbean Disney (2441070924).jpg. Do not delete all of these, but do request deletions for the really personal one among these. -- Robert Weemeyer (talk) 19:25, 27 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
The large majority of the photos is just personal. The bulk upload of these photos strikes me as rather pointless. The two (unused) photos you mention may indeed have some educational value, so they can be excluded from the deletion. The quality of all the photos is mediocre at best though. Buxtehude (talk) 12:19, 28 November 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'll look at a bunch of these but won't promise I'll do many. --Pitke (talk) 19:50, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
OK I've seen everything from U to Z. Anything within that scope I feel is worth keeping I've commented on. Others, I have no issue with deleting. Most of the unmarked files are clearly personal snapshots of private people in private situations and have no value for our scope. Another fair few are unidentified things and/or of low quality. --Pitke (talk) 20:37, 1 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted large bunches of very clearly out-of-scope personal photos with clearly indicating filenames. Mostly the Flickr user and her family members. --Pitke (talk) 00:03, 7 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: I've cleaned these out -- kept some that appeared useful, but deleted the vast majority.
Comments on those mentioned for  Keep above:
These all have DW issues with the products or other items imaged, including the sculpture of the pumpkin and the lengthy text on the Tonics and Liniments.

Except for the exterior shot, the Spaceship Earth images all have copyright issues as DWs of sculptures – all of the stage sets and all of the mannequins have copyrights. Note that I did not look at them all.

This is a personal image – the bacon is ‘’de minimis’’

I restored all of these in deference to the comments above, but I really think that none of them should be kept. They all have focus, camera movement, or composition issues which should prevent our keeping them.

Info For future reference, File:This was hanging from the ceiling of the hotel (3423568925).jpg shows some artistic fixture in the Hyatt of Kansas City, United States, according to tags at this Flickr image URL (URL was confirmed via my inquiry at P199's talk page). Nevertheless, the subject is not covered by America's limited FoP (limited only to "buildings" as of this writing). JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 17:05, 19 November 2020 (UTC)[reply]
