German stamps were found not to be official works by courts, so they are not automatically in the public domain. These stamps are the work of de:Manfred Gottschall, who died in 2015. So they are still protected by copyright and should be deleted. The files can be restored in 2086.

  • Sie haben keinb Recht, die Reliqien eines vor mehr als 30 Jahren untergegangenen Staaten, einfach so zu löschen! --Katharinaiv (talk) 21:47, 30 September 2022 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Keep I don't see any sources cited by the topic starter, any links to "court decisions", any sources on copyright terms, any sources on copyright owner. In German Democratic Republic stamps were issued by the state, were considered "visit cards" of the state, and their designers could profit from their work only through the state. Hence, these stamps were obviously official ones. 海豚2 (talk) 21:42, 25 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
