 Keep As for "File:Yuika Shiina 2021-08-18.png" it is a video featuring Vtuber Yuika Shiina herself, and she is aware of and allows this video to be published as a Creative Commons by the contributor of this video. Therefore, we believe that the deletion is unjustified and does not constitute copyright infringement.
If a third party publishes a video on Youtube as Creative Commons without the permission of the Vtuber himself, the screenshot should be removed, but the file published with the permission of the Vtuber himself should not be removed. 七厩拓 (talk) 14:44, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For the same reason, we oppose the removal of all files currently requested for removal, including Files in Category:Screenshots of Virtual YouTubers. 七厩拓 (talk) 03:46, 15 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]

 KeepSo as File:不知火フレア.png,ile:湊あくあ.png. Those screenshots are made from the original youtube movie published under CC-BY license. As long as following the CC rules,those screenshots are totally OK in the eyes of copy right.I wonder what is the problem here.Please define the problem more precisely. Wamaduma (talk) 15:03, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Are these characters the property of the VTubers themselves? Or do these persons have the right to grant permission to use this copyrighted work? Usually these persons are under contract with the company and use the character, so they do not have the right to grant permission to use the character. Even if the video is licensed as YouTube CC-BY on the character's channel, it is not clear whether the permission was granted by the office or by the voice actor. Syunsyunminmin (talk) 11:36, 29 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
That's not the case here. In these cases, the screenshot isn't from the featured VTuber's channel. Cookai🍪 (💬talk) 13:59, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
 Delete Certainly not the character's own channel. It appears that the owner of the channel is not the person who can grant copyright permission for these characters. Syunsyunminmin (talk) 15:03, 1 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per nomination. These images are taken from CCBYSA licensed youtube films, but there is no evidence - indeed severe doubt - these licenses where lawfully added with permission of the original news sites, games sites etc. So the images have to be deleted, regrettably. --Ellywa (talk) 21:15, 28 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The author doesn't own the featured VTuber, though they're under the same agency.

 Keep For both groups you nominated here, see reason at {{PD-algorithm}}. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 09:15, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
I don't know how these have anything to do with AI. Cookai🍪 (💬talk) 13:35, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
These VTuber models are drawn by humans and rigged by humans. Cookai🍪 (💬talk) 13:43, 6 March 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Cookai1205 Human drawing can let pictures have no burrs? Don't tell me, that there are burrs trained in someone's fork of ChatGPT source codes. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 09:41, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
These are screenshots of YouTube videos. The latest ones are from 2019.
One of the characters is a 3DCG model, others are Live2D-like models, which require digital art for layered parts, then be rigged. Cookai🍪 (💬talk) 10:01, 12 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Cookai1205 3DCG, Live2D, as well as layered image parts, are also AI-generatable (through trainning, so far and however not suitable for free-licensing), just see Gochiusa as example. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 12:24, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Again, it's from or before 2019, and you have no evidence it's AI-generated. I'm not sure what do you mean by "no burrs", but I don't think you can tell that from a screenshot. Cookai🍪 (💬talk) 13:00, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Did you check the source? Cookai🍪 (💬talk) 13:09, 14 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Cookai1205 Just one word: Yes! Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 01:24, 17 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Same as above, the screenshot isn't from the VTuber's channel. Therefore, no evidence of promison.

 Keep As said, {{PD-algorithm}}, @Joansedana: You may consider nominating restoration of those which mis-deleted. Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 03:27, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Again, no evidence it's AI-generated, you have no idea what you're acusing. Cookai🍪 (💬talk) 07:38, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@七厩拓: Agree with this clause? Liuxinyu970226 (talk) 11:22, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
@Liuxinyu970226 I agree with @Cookai1205; there is no evidence that the content is AI-generated, so I don't think it falls under {{PD-algorithm}}. 七厩拓 (talk) 18:27, 19 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
