Incorrect attribution. Posters by Alexander Rodchenko, Mayakovsky - text only. Rodchenko died in 1956, his artwork is not the public domain.

  • Can you provide a source that the author of the posters is Rodchenko? In the original blog post and a few others the posters are attributed to Mayakovsky (as opposed to Rodchenko's in the same post) Alex Bakharev (talk) 23:29, 7 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Please see here [1] and [2]. It says here [3] „У каждого из участников тандема были свои функции – Маяковский писал лозунги и агитки (сейчас бы сказали, был копирайтером), а Родченко переводил в графику и иллюстрации.“. It says here [4] „Помимо «Клуба» в Париже показали совместные рекламные плакаты Родченко и Маяковского: «Соски», «Мячики» и «Галоши» для Резинотреста.“ Ie reliable sources said that the posters "Galoshes" is a joint creativity. Please pay attention to the style. The posters did not look like other posters by Vladimir Mayakovsky. --Andrey Korzun (talk) 08:23, 8 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
