  • Some of them are too old to be protected by copyright. For example, 1917 - is clearly PD. #!31.153.72.159 17:25, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, I did not see any until 1917. Mostly the 1950s to the 2000s. Please inform if you are sure that the plaque until 1917. --Andrey Korzun (talk) 18:44, 30 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
--Vladimir Ivanov (talk) 00:35, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I'm sorry, you're quoting rules of Russian Wikipedia. Here is different project and different rules. The Russian Civil Code is not mentioned about the area of objects in the photo. The Russian Civil Code says, "if the artwork is not the main object of use" - then OK, and in this case can be loaded. Calculations of area percent in the photo is not an suitable argument. What is the main object of use here (your example)? The main object are the plaques. I think, should be guided Commons:De minimis. I think, all the images of plaques are described under #6 and #7 examples of the table Commons:De minimis. --Andrey Korzun (talk) 22:15, 31 May 2015 (UTC)[reply]
What objections do you have against {{PD-ineligible}} permission for this file? The same permission can be applied to File:NabokovPlaque.jpg, File:Malaia_Posadskaia_Street_20_Plaque.jpg, File:Malaia_Posadskaia_8_Orlov.jpg, File:Лозинский_М.Л..JPG File:Lidval_House_Plaque.jpg, File:Commemorative plaque prospekt Narodnogo opolcheniya.jpg etc. --Vladimir Ivanov (talk) 15:42, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]
I think not. These works are non-trivial, in my opinion. Non-trivial work have different artistic elements, such as laurel branches, images of books, logos, monograms, floral ornaments, geometric patterns, decorations, etc. A non-trivial work may be due to the different textures of materials and processing techniques to achieve the artistic effect. Everything have in your examples. Example of a trivial memorial plaque: File:Muziy SPb 2010 3404.jpg — text only, a font only. These are not nominated, not discussed here. Finally, {{PD-ineligible}} has not been used nowhere from the nominated files. --Andrey Korzun (talk) 21:36, 2 June 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Comment These two file are ok and shouldn't be deleted:
  1. File:Plaque Siege of Leningrad (Inzhenernaya 9).JPG is pd-ineligible (simple forms, mostly text)
  1. File:Доходный дом Р.Г.Веге (мемориальная доска с пр. Римского-Корсакова).jpg is pd-ineligible (simple forms, mostly text)
