Files in Category:Olympic Gymnastics Arena
[edit]There is no commercial freedom of panorama in South Korea. Per w:en:Olympic Gymnastics Arena, the entire building was authored by w:en:Kim Swoo-geun (died 1986), while the roof was authored by w:en:David H. Geiger (died 1989). The work is unfree as a result.

- Please don't delete my file.
I cannot understand the reason of deletion. You are just trying to kill massive files. 주전자 (talk) 13:41, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
- @주전자: please only reply here, do not reply at talk page of this deletion request. The reason for those files needing deletion is that the files (under commercial Creative Commons licensing) violate the posthumous copyright of the architect. Since the architect died less than 70 years ago, the architectural work is copyrighted and unfree. Some countries like China and United Kingdom allow the so-called freedom of panorama, in which publication and distributions of photos or videos of copyrighted works of art and architecture in public places are allowed even without permits from the works' architects or artists. But South Korea does not allow commercial freedom of panorama, so all these photos violate the late architect's copyright. Change the copyright law of South Korea to remove non-commercial restriction, then this building can finally be accepted on Wikimedia Commons. JWilz12345 (Talk|Contrib's.) 14:14, 24 April 2023 (UTC)
