- I acknowledge no FoP. However I believe that some are {{PD-ineligible}}. --|EPO| da: 09:23, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- Comment - No copyright atached to File:Copenhagen 1109.JPG and File:Facade Jagtvej 65.jpg. File:Folketspark.jpg does not have the mural as main object and falls within FoP. --Pugilist (talk) 09:39, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- I wonder if the law is meant to protect what is probably illegal graffiti like File:Copenhagen 2018-07-15 (30571381768).jpg. One could even wonder if it is meant to protect murals like File:Burmeistersgade from Prinsessegade.jpg (not only in Denmark, by the way). I find it strange, anyway, that someone can claim ownership of the public sphere by drawing this or that on a wall or whatever surface, and sometimes it seems as if Wikimedia is the only institution that really implements these laws. - Comment - It is correct that there is no FoP for 2D art work, however, there is FoP of buildings (Danish Copyright Act sec 24(3)). Most of the Murals, if not all, are made on buildings. -Pugilist (talk) 15:02, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- A mural is protected as a work of the visual arts, which is a completely different category of works than buildings, and therefore not covered by the exemption in §24(3), which is only about the copyright protection of buildings. Unfortunately, it doesn't help us that the mural is on the side of a building. See Peter Schønning (2008) "Ophavsretsloven med kommentarer", 4th edition, p. 350. Peter Alberti (talk) 17:11, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- Keep the following images:
- File:Copenhagen 1109.JPG: old company logo, based on a version drawn by Thorvald Bindesbøll (1846–1908), I believe, and the copyright has expired.
- File:Facade Jagtvej 65.jpg per Pugilist.
- File:Folketspark.jpg: a shot of the park with a mural in the background (de minimis).
- File:The Floating City.JPG: I believe this mural is below the threshold of originality in Denmark.
- Delete the rest. Peter Alberti (talk) 17:11, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- Question File:Homage to the female Copenhagen cyclists - Seppo Mattinen 1993 - panoramio.jpg is by Seppo Mattinen, an arist with an article in the danish wikipedia. There are more files by the artist on commons: File:Fladstrand kirke altar.JPG, File:Varde Bibliotek bogbussen 22.jpg. Doesn't this mean, the artist can be contacted by a danish speaking wikipedian and he is likely to give a permission for the mural also? --C.Suthorn (talk) 18:11, 3 October 2019 (UTC)
- I'm sure he speak english.
- Comment - I don't like this deletion request, and think that all the pictures should be kept, as no one is claiming their copyright. But now that the deletion request have been raised, we have to decide which of the pictures that we have to delete.

Comment As an example with respect to de minimis File:Copenhagen 2011 05.jpg comes with the categories Category:2011 in Copenhagen, Category:Murals in Copenhagen, Category:BP advertisement and Category:Advertising in Denmark. All this categories reference the mural. If the file is kept with the rationale DM, I think the categories have to be removed permanantly. Same might be the case with other DM files. --C.Suthorn (talk) 16:00, 10 October 2019 (UTC)
Kept: one with only the old script logo, deleted the rest. The test of whether we can keep an image containing a copyrighted work is not whether the work is the main object, but that it is de minimis. The test of de minimis is that if the copyrighted object were removed from the work, the average veiwer would not notice the difference. That is plainly not the case in any of these. . Jim . . .
