Mary-Claire King AAAS images
[edit]Image is asserted to be PD but there is no PD declaration at the source page. This archive shows that there is a statement of no usage restrictions but that is not a clear statement of PD, and the Terms and Condiitons from about the time of upload makes it quite clear that this is copyrighted content and not PD.

Keep The T&C linked to by Whpq says: Images may be submitted to the EurekAlert! multimedia gallery with or without an accompanying press release, but all submissions must include an explanatory caption, as well as preferred credit line and information on terms of usage or permission requirements, if any. Also, later it says Subscribers may provide specific Usage Restrictions for a User Submission at the time it is submitted to EurekAlert! for posting. The press release that contains this image gives credit to UWE Dettmar, so while it's not explicitly PD, I think we can safely assume that UWE Dettmar set the "no restrictions on usage" statement and as such, {{Copyrighted free use}} is valid. —holly {chat} 21:32, 25 September 2023 (UTC)
