One of the Photos is an Interior Shot in the Church in Chongos Altos. The others are Not

[edit]

The photo File:Josue Sanchez Chongos Altos.jpg is an interior shot taken inside the church at Chongos Altos in 1970.

The other four files are photos of paintings that I purchased from Sanchez in the 1970's and are currently hanging on the wall in my study in the USA.

Yes, you bought the paintings, but you didn't buy the copyright. The images have to be deleted if you cannot provide a written permission by the artist (or his heirs in case an artist should not be alive anymore) to license them with a free license. --AndreasPraefcke (talk) 17:56, 25 March 2014 (UTC)[reply]
I'm not going to contact Sanchez after 45 years.
[edit]

When he sees they are missing from his wikipedia article, he can upload photos of his paintings to Wikimedia himself if he wants them on Wikipedia.

Best Regards,

Hugh Pickens
