There is no FoP for interior views in Germany. Keep. An escalator is a utilitarian object and not part of the creative architecture. The surrounding walls have a simple repeating pattern which is a de minimis portion of the larger architectural work. IronGargoyle (talk) 17:15, 13 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The exclusion of interior staircases from FoP doesn't matter if said staircases are not sufficiently creative to copyright, too small a part of the larger whole, and/or largely picturing a utilitarian object. That is the point it seems like you keep missing across all these deletion requests. You just keep repeating that interiors are excluded from FoP. I know interiors are excluded from FoP. Well these are not just simple escalators but specifically for this building developed escalators. You can't see the end of the escalators from the start, nor the start from the end. It is also not a simple repeating pattern, but a pattern made of 7900 pieces of glass that mirror the environment. They are at times mentioned to be the longest escalators in Western Europe (82 meters). Paradise Chronicle (talk) 23:55, 3 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The pattern is also not repeating as IronGargoyle argues, as you can observe in several of the files such as File:Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Escalators (48827900578).jpg, File:Elbphilharmonie Hamburg, Escalators (48828428682).jpg, File:Hamburg 2024.jpg or File:Hamburg Filharmonia Labska 7.jpg and likely every file you double check if the pattern is repeating or not. Keep per IronGargoyle. What I see in the photos is utilitarian looking escalator and ceiling with monochrome circles, very basic. The whole may be a significant work as nominator states, but I don't see these photos of sections of escalator as violating copyright. -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 21:18, 8 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
