I do not think it matters whether the letters are from a pre-made font. In the "笑巴喜" and "城市宝贝" example in COM:TOO China, a court ruled that characters from a computer font/character set showing creative elements are copyrightable. --Wcam (talk) 13:56, 17 September 2020 (UTC)[reply]
