No FOP in the US for art. Also, see COM:GRAFFITI

Hey, thanks for bringing these back up. These were among the first uploads I ever made. Sometime afterward, I became aware that there may be copyright issues, so I asked about it at Commons talk:Copyright rules by subject matter. Both the existing lengthy discussion and response from my inquiry suggested the files were safe. Perhaps consensus has since changed? If it means anything, Banksy is pseudonymous and based in England, where I understand they have freedom of panorama (so it would be odd to take legal action on a few Commons images taken in the US, but be OK with those in the UK, is my thinking). Meanwhile, Category:Street art in the United States is full of close-up images of graffiti. It would be a shame to delete the more notable imagery, created by one of the world's most famous street artists, devaluing the articles and documentation of his work (which often is quickly seized, destroyed, or defaced). However obviously I'll bow to policy and consensus :) and I understand we're trying to be cautious. Regards MusikAnimal talk 11:14, 17 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: deleted a few that seemed to be legal (sculptures, paintings), kept the rest per COM:GRAFFITI. --Sebari – aka Srittau (talk) 13:29, 15 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]
