[edit]The screenshots were taken from YouTube videos with CC-BY license from the personal YouTube channel of en:Tony Dandrades. However, we can see that the logo on the microphone corresponds to the TV program Primer Impacto[1] (the logo is from the TV channel en:Univision), where Dandrades is one of the many journalists. The likely copyright holder of the footage is Univision and not Dandrades. Notice that I included all the image from teh Fast X premiere, that although the microphone is not visible on some of them, the source is the same video [2].

- Keep But Dandrades is a journalist of this Channel, what's the problema with these files? I don't think there's another video on YouTube with the same content, I oppose deletion!!! RevengerTime (talk) 20:58, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- what's the problema with these files? If you didn't read the explanation, I will write it once more: he is doing the interviews with a a microphone with the logo of Univision, his employer. I don't think there's another video on YouTube with the same content. Your assumption doesn't hold. You can find the footage of Fast X premiere on this video that doesn't have a CC-BY license and is part of the official channel of Primer Impacto, the TV show where Dandrades works. - These are really contract law and not copyright law questions. Without reviewing his contract, it is possible that the channel and not the individual is the copyright holder, but we need stronger evidence, like a takedown notice at YouTube from Univision. We have several red carpet photographers that donate their footage/photos that are not aired. Some sell those images to Getty and others release under a free license. --RAN (talk) 23:57, 22 January 2024 (UTC)
- Everything is possible, the question is what is likely. This is not a freelancer filming for a news agency or Getty. Watch this video. There are at least 3 people involved: I identified a reporter and two camera operators. The reporter wears the logo of the biggest Spanish-speaking broadcaster in the US, and the 7th in audience [3] and the footage was used in en:Primer Impacto, on of their flagship shows where he works since decades. They are not shooting in the US, but in Italy. The YouTube channel that claims the copyright is not from one of the cameramen (the one holding the copyright by default), but from the reporter. The possible copyright holders are 1) the one holding the camera 2) the reporter 3) the producer of Primer Impacto 4) the TV channel. If the copyright holder is not the cameraman, then there was a copyright transfer, and the most likely copyright holder is the company that hired the reporter, the staff and flew them to Europe. Notice that I only nominated videos that are clearly related to Univision. As with images that we doubt the authorship and require a COM:VRT ticket, the uploader or any interested party can contact Tony Dandrades for a clarification. - Delete all per Günther Frager. I find the discussion above to be pure speculation, and illustrative of why these images should be deleted: The purpose of Commons is to provide multimedia content that is freely licensed for anyone to use. When we permit content like this, where there are open questions as to the provenance or whether there are third parties who may have a claim to the media, then we harm the entire purpose of Commons. Images like these should always be treated as suspect. 69.174.144.79 05:27, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
Deleted: per nomination and COM:PCP Dandrades contacting COM:VRT would clear things up. --Abzeronow (talk) 21:48, 12 March 2024 (UTC)
