[edit]

Some of the nominated files seem to misrepresent the licensing status. [1][2] - PAKUTASO's site-wide license is not CC0 nor CC BY SA. [3]

The other two files have the "Copyrighted free use" template, but a closer inspection into the original license reveals a problem. Their site-wide license does not seem to be free enough by the standards of COM:L, because of limitations onto commercial use [4] - they don't allow for commercial uses in which mere reproductions, not derivative works, of their materials are sold ("写真素材をほぼそのままの状態で販売する行為(有料素材で販売する行為も含まれる)は、クレジット表記があったとしても公開差止めや賠償請求の対象となります。").

If they specifically release these works under CC0 or other free licenses, evidence must be provided on their website or via COM:OTRS.

  •  Keep There is no need to delete those images because it is not a violation of Pakutaso's terms. ("Q.Wikipedia で写真を利用したい")[5]--XFB38K (talk) 11:55, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Wikimedia Commons is a repository of freely usable materials. It's not good enough that we can use it. Everyone needs to be able to use it under a free license. whym (talk) 23:38, 31 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
    • Although I am the uploader in one of the files affected, I must say that there's a chance where the team behind Pakutaso is not aware how much freedom a media needs to have in order for them to be hosted on Wikimedia projects under a free license. 朝彦 | asahiko (talk) 13:04, 29 September 2019 (UTC)[reply]
