Images are COM:DERIV screenshots from the Space Engine software, uploaded as CC-BY-SA or public domain.

http://spaceengine.org/manual/license/ says "...the Author grants you a royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, copy and distribute the Software, and any content created with the Software (screenshots, video, textures, scripts), without fee, for personal, educational, charity and other non-commercial use. If you want to use the Software or content created with the Software for commercial purposes, please contact the Author at..." (my emphasis).

This licencing statement has been in place since at least 2014.

CC-BY-SA allows commercial reuse. No evidence that the author has been contacted and approved the screenshots' release as CC-BY-SA credited to the various uploaders, rather than to the software or software author.

Hello. Few years ago, I uploaded one of these files, thinking that commercial use was allowed, following a misunderstanding from me. I think effectively that these files should be deleted. --L2003A (talk) 11:16, 30 March 2021 (UTC)[reply]
