Commons:Deletion requests/File:Yukon Party Logo.svg
File is uploaded as "own work", but it simply seems to be a mechanical reproduction in svg format of the same logo found on the official website of the en:Yukon Party. While I understand that some time and effort likely was involved in creating this, I'm not sure if this would be considered something "original to its author, not copied from another work, and requires more than trivial or mechanical intellectual effort" as explained in en:Threshold of originality#Canada. It might be possible, however, per COM:TOO#Canada for the files' licensing to be converted to {{PD-textlogo}}, but that depends on whether the mountain and sun imagery are considered too simple to be eligible for copyright protection. Unless there is a clear consensus that it does, I think this probably needs to be treated as COM:FU, deleted from Commons as such, and then uploaded locally to English Wikipedia as non-free content. -- Marchjuly (talk) 00:01, 15 January 2017 (UTC)
- Delete. Derivative. Or needs evidence that the uploader is the designer of the original logo. -- Asclepias (talk) 20:43, 16 January 2017 (UTC)
