  •  Speedy delete Uploader request within 2 days of upload; not in use; therefore eligible for speedy deletion. Brianjd (talk) 12:34, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Keep Either Yemeni or Greek, this is a quality photo. Could the nominator refernce the policy related to the given reason of "Photographs of identifiable people?" There are 100,000 of photos like this on the Commons. --Tibet Nation (talk) 21:11, 21 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment Subject may be a minor, but no evidence that it’s a private place. Brianjd (talk) 05:38, 22 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment I reviewed the images and tagged it with {{Personality}} for personality rights. PS: If the girl is in Yemen right now, there is very little chance of contacting her or her parents as this country has been devastated by a civil war between Iranian proxies and pro-Saudi Arabian forces sadly. This is a quality photo...in more peaceful times. --Leoboudv (talk) 05:45, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  • @Leoboudv: I am trying to work out what the image is supposed to depict. I can only see on Flickr that it is described as “Yemeni Girl”. The description “A Yemeni girl of Greek descendant” does not make sense. Perhaps you meant “A Yemeni girl of Greek descent”. But how do we know if she is of Greek descent to begin with? • We love discussions, don't we? Let me spend some bytes then: The file was published by the photographer as "Yemeni girl". Someone who was influenced by the 2004 cult film Troy, thinking that Greeks are blond with coloured eyes like Mr Pitt, thought it would be a good contribution to Commons to add girls with beautiful eyes from around the world where Alexander supposedly "visited" (in other words his soldiers raped the local population as was the custom those days; no I do not remember personally, am younger :). Only maybe later -I sucked in history classes- probably s/he realized that Alexander (the Macedonian) had not visited Yemen, because even then there were internal conflicts in all the areas around the world's most productive petrol zones, and decided to get this one deleted and add pictures of girls from the Subcontinent. Whatever. Let us keep this beautiful Yemeni kid and keep our energy for more useful discussions. (The "I uploaded it I can delete it within a certain time" thingy is not valid here; a Flickr file is free. If you wish delete and re-upload it. IMHO better "delete" the Greek stupidity added to the original photographer's words.) Bye. E4024 (talk) 17:08, 23 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
  •  Comment: I reverted my edit on the girl's ethnicity. --Leoboudv (talk) 19:56, 24 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
