This image has no source. Hunan201p (talk) 08:16, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]

This is a crop from a parent image showing three sculptures - this page gives the source as "|Source = This is a scanned image from Bunakov. Graphic and Sculptural Reconstructions. |Date = 1930s |Author = unknown |Permission = This work is in the public domain because of its age:" It is a product of an anonymous Soviet photographer of the 1930s of sculptures by Vladislav Bunakov, possibly the photographer was Bunakov, how this affects its copyright status, I have no idea. Urselius (talk) 10:28, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Thanks for your input. I don't think this qualifies as a source, though. - Hunan201p (talk) 14:48, 10 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
@Urselius: thanks. I still can't find that author. Can you give us his name in Cyrillic? Maybe the ISBN of the book in question? Magog the Ogre (talk) (contribs) 23:09, 11 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Hunan201p is currently under a 3 month long block on Wikipedia for disruptive editing on articles related to this discussion.[1] Krakkos (talk) 19:41, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
A simple name is not a sufficient source, though. I can't find anything by a "Vladislav Bunakov" online. We need a known publiciation the images were taken from. - Hunan201p (talk) 17:11, 12 March 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Sirfurboy (talk • contribs) 16:29, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
No matter the copyright, the sculptures in the photos do not represent scientifically accurate depictions of the topic. They were created using outdated, inaccurate, and prejudiced methodology. They are essentially too old to be relevant in the scientific context of the article. - 24.247.20.187 (talk) 01:25, 19 March 2020 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment was added by 24.247.20.187 (talk) 05:30, 19 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
This is not a deletion reason. This is merely a reason not to use the images on a certain article (or to use the images with caution). -- Sirfurboy (talk) 16:32, 20 March 2020 (UTC)[reply]
24.247.20.187 appears to be an IP sock of Hunan201p. Krakkos (talk) 19:41, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
PicturesOfTheWorld is a confirmed sockpuppet of Tirgil34. The nominator Hunan201p is currently being investigated on Wikipedia because it is suspected that he is an additional sockpuppet/meatsock of Tirgil34. Krakkos (talk) 19:41, 25 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Procedural keep as part of another bundled DR. --King of ♥ 05:48, 19 August 2020 (UTC)[reply]
