copyright violation; Contemporary artworks; no freedom of panorama. Martin Sg. (talk) 18:31, 17 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Objection to deletion : Poor quality jpg (not suitable for pirated reprints), but a high quality topic (POP in Germany, Culture in Emmerich am Rhein) and a good representation of an arttist at a certain place at a certain moment in time. What better artists' portrait and what more obvious sign of mutual consent could one possibly wish for than the artist posing in front of his own work? (Btw. This not a "panorama" so the reasons for deletion above are incorrect and or incomplete. Also possible exceptions by a house owner on a case to case basis are not taken into account. imo Such images should be promoted as a Valued Images, due to their singularity. I really thought for more than a decennium that there would be no problem with this file. Everyone seemed happy with it. It was the core around which to write the lemma about the artist, as I did for Dutch Wikipedia. Deleting this file would damage that lemma and its other language versions. Who would clean them up and gets them illustrated again the proper way? Peli (talk) 04:13, 19 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: I cropped out the artwork and uploaded a new version. Disagree with this closure? If one wishes to renominate this file, they are able to do so. This is my final decision on this nomination, so please do not take it to my talk page or ping me unless it’s technical issue. Thanks for assuming good faith and happy new year!. --Missvain (talk) 19:12, 29 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
