Nonsens, the artist has been dead for more than seventy years and he created his artwork before 1923. --Trzęsacz (talk) 22:24, 11 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

1. the picture shows N.K., is that right?
2. who is the author of the portrait?
It is not the problem of untrustable source but there is a problem of the author.
If it can be proven, that Wassily Kandinsky was the painter, than the photo of the picture is Wikimedia-PD-art and PD-old-70. If this reproduction is found in an untrustable source, so what?
But it seems, that it can't be proven.
I took a quick look at
Hans Konrad Röthel; Jean K. Benjamin: Kandinsky : Werkverzeichnis der Ölgemälde. 2. 1916 - 1944. München : Beck, 1984 ISBN 3-406-08892-9
there seems to be no such portrait.
And, this portrait has never been mentioned by none, never been shown in a publication, except now in two (untrustable) Internetsources
until 1-1-2015 (W.K. was PD-old-70 then), when it was uploaded in Commons, by me, my fault, so far.
therefore deletion would be quite ok, unless someone finds out about the authorship.

Kept: the author died in 1944, and the drawing is out of copyright. --Ymblanter (talk) 18:54, 18 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]
