No evidence that this image was first published (as opposed to created) as long ago as the license requires. Sitush (talk) 16:37, 26 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: No need for publication in Indian law. Please read {{PD-India}}. Yann (talk) 19:02, 1 August 2014 (UTC)[reply]

The guy in this photo died around 1930 but we have no idea when it was first *published*. Although apparently taken from a museum website, it looks like a family snapshot and so may not have been published for many years after his death. Sitush (talk) 20:04, 7 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, just noticed we have been here before. FWIW, there is some debate going on at WP:EN regarding whether we have the Indian copyright stuff worded correctly and, indeed, Yann's comment above does not appear to agree with it because PD-India does mention publication? - Sitush (talk) 08:39, 12 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: per nomination - something got overlooked in 2014 apparently, because the wording of the license template has not changed since. --Jcb (talk) 22:46, 29 June 2018 (UTC)[reply]
