This file was initially tagged by IagoQnsi as no permission (No permission since). It sounds like IagoQnsi hasn't seen an original. Stolen images tend to be in a smaller size than this (1,732 × 2,309 pixels), actresses may pose for amateur photographers for a fee. I would say there is a too weak basis for speedy deletion ("Unless this issue is resolved, the file will be deleted seven days after this tag was added "), so I'm converting this to a regular deletion request. whym (talk) 12:45, 29 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]

I understand that the file I uploaded has been nominated for deletion.
I followed the guide and sent a license approval email to VRT (March 25th).
What else can I do?
I trimmed it when I uploaded it, but I also have the original image (with Exif information created by my digital camera) before trimming.
If you would like to send it for proof, please indicate where to send it.
Thank you.

  •  Keep No reason to assume the uploader stole it from an unidentified source. The original deletion rationale is refuted, from my perspective. A non-trimmed version would be nice but not strictly necessary, given the lack of argument for deletion. whym (talk) 12:50, 2 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
    thank you.
I am ready to upload the original photo, so if there is an opinion that it should be deleted, I will upload the original file.
However, since it is a landscape and has an unnecessary background, I would like to avoid re-uploading if possible.

I thought it was concluded that the file subject to the deletion discussion would survive, but it seems that it was deleted today.
I don't understand the reason or the basis.
I also sent the permission to VRT as instructed, but was there any reason why it didn't work?
You asked me to request the cancellation of the deletion after 14 days, but do I have to wait until then?
I would appreciate it if you could let me know.

Comment A ticket is mentioned in the file: ticket:2023032510003115. Yann (talk) 14:24, 25 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ticket:2023032510003115 was closed 2 weeks ago, which does not mean a rejection. In this case, the ticket is deemed unnecessary. [1][2] If we have reasons to be extra careful, we could do more (like requesting and verifying other versions of the picture as suggested above), but that costs extra time and effort and I would rather do that only when necessary. whym (talk) 03:19, 27 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]
ticket:2023032510003115 is accepted now. A new email arrived. Although I personally didn't demand it, I have no problem with accepting voluntarily sent evidence. whym (talk) 12:39, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: Permission OK now. --Yann (talk) 13:30, 30 April 2023 (UTC)[reply]

  • You probably removed it from the article where it was being used. But what is your issue? You jumped through hoops this April to make sure it could be used, and now you want it deleted in November? How is that logical? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 16:07, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
thank you for your reply. I apologize for making a request that is difficult to understand.
For a long time, there was no photo of "Tsubaki Sannomiya" on the Japanese version of Wikipedia, so I thought some kind of photo was needed, so I added the one I took to Commons, and then added it to the Japanese version of Wikipedia.
However, the photo was extremely unpopular, with many saying it was drastically different from the person's appearance, and multiple channels advised me to take it down.
For this reason, I immediately removed the photo from the Japanese Wikipedia that I had added.
However, during that period, it was discovered that another user added the photo to the Chinese version of Wikipedia, causing the inappropriate photo to be displayed in searches.
For this reason, I decided that I wanted to delete the original Commons file.
I don't know the details, but even if I created a photo, can I delete it if I think it's inappropriate?
Thank you for your judgment.-- Kuro itengineer (talk) 21:31, 11 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • What did people consider inappropriate about the photo? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 02:21, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
The photo was taken by me, but it was pointed out that it was far from the actual appearance of the person, perhaps because my skills were inexperienced, the timing of the photo was bad, or there was a lighting issue. If you were an ordinary person, you might not have made such a point, but since he is a person with many fans, I think they are particularly concerned about his appearance. I myself am confused and exhausted and would like to escape from such problems.-- Kuro itengineer (talk) 21:00, 12 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I'm sympathetic to you, but I just looked at the category, and this is the only photo of her on Commons, so I have to oppose deletion on that basis. However, if you are able to take a better photo and upload it, you'd have a much stronger argument for a courtesy deletion of this one. -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 01:19, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you for your kind reply. In fact, I have already uploaded and published new another photos that I took in the Japanese Wikipedia article. However, in consideration of unintended disclosure like this, I chose to upload the Japanese version locally. There is a way to upload this file to Wikimedia Commons instead of requesting its deletion, but I cannot decide on this right away at this time. Kuro itengineer (talk) 06:06, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
  • I can't delete anything, but could you link the photo? -- Ikan Kekek (talk) 23:54, 13 November 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I don't really understand the detailed mechanism or procedure, but if you can't delete it, you can leave it as is. I apologize for the inconvenience. The new photos that were in the Japanese version locally were imported to Wikimedia Commons, and the original local files were also deleted. I would like to add this Commons image to the Chinese version as well. Old photos will remain, but there will be no objections as long as they are actually used. thank you very much. Kuro itengineer (talk) 14:41, 3 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]
