Commons:Deletion requests/File:The Shriek.jpg
This file was initially tagged by 68.194.210.136 as «no permission» (No permission since), yet uploader claims in their talk page to have direct contact with the artist. Seems to be a matter for COM:OTRS. -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 21:22, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- Do not engage in retaliatory campaigns. Continuing to do so will be considered harrassment. -22:01, 29 September 2019 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Seazzy (talk • contribs) 22:01, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- Comment Don’t be silly. And avoid using words that mean things you might find yourself in hot water for: I could not care less myself, but if you go thowing around H-bombs every time someone annoys or inconveniences you, you’ll eventually find like minded bosybodies who'll gladly try and block you over your mere choice of words. I further suggest you stick to the point of this DR and explain what you said elsewhere, that you have written permission to upload and license this photo. Please produce it via COM:OTRS so that everything’s okay. -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 22:11, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- Close and keep, as soon as the licensing issues are clared. -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 22:23, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- Ticket:2019092610009329 has been received regarding to file(s) mentioned here. --Krdbot 23:00, 29 September 2019 (UTC)
- Keep If and as soon as the otrs ticket is cleared. Also, if this ticket doesn't cover all the files previously uploaded by Seazzy and deleted as copyright violation, if they are in the same situation, shouldn't these also be cleared by a otrs ticket? Tm (talk) 00:13, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- Good question. Among this user’s extant uploads, there’s one self-photographed photo, two correctly credited and licensed images, with OTRS tickets, and one photo wrong tagged as own work and described as «Fair use»… -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 00:45, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- Comment: Did some categorizing, too. Some times art including electronics is not for Category:Electronic Arts… -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 00:48, 30 September 2019 (UTC)

- Comment Keep or delete depending on if pending OTRS clears up possible DW copyright problem. Confirmed free license or not is the relevant issue. -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 03:20, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Infrogmation: Is there any realistic DW issue? We can assume that the photograph itself comes from the uploader or from the author of the artwork, and its licensing is to be clarified in the OTRS process, correct? -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 12:29, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Tuvalkin: Unless artist Laura Kikauka and User:Seazzy are the same person, the photo would certainly be DW. (I have not seen any claim they are the same from the user on Commons nor en:w.) -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 17:36, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- @Infrogmation: Indeed. But they being separate people, then the photo would be assumed having been taken by Seazzy, even though it was not tagged as {{self}}-made in the file page. -- Tuválkin ✉ ✇ 17:58, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
- Yes, so the issue still comes down to: what authority does User:Seazzy have to upload Laura Kikauka's work under the stated license? That's why OTRS seems best way to clarify the situation. Anyone seen the OTRS yet, and if so, what is the relevant information? -- Infrogmation of New Orleans (talk) 18:35, 30 September 2019 (UTC)
Comment OTRS agent: We've received ticket:2019092610009329 about this file. Ticket came from User:Seazzy as "appointed representative of Laura Kikauka" (in ccd) The artist never email us directly. Two agents (including me) explained that we need permission from photographer, but user refuse this option and the artist never answered directly. In this conditions, I think best is Delete.
