Derivative of a copyrighted ballet. — Racconish💬 08:45, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
The content of Balanchine trust's website is copyrighted (1987-2020), Balanchine died in 1983. Diabolicum (talk) 10:25, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Sorry, i've just read on NYCB website : "Choreography by George Balanchine © The George Balanchine Trust". But is this a problem ? If so, shouldn't we suppress all Balanchine's choregraphies photos? Diabolicum (talk) 10:30, 28 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
A choreography is a sequence of movements. I don't think that a photo does reproduce a choreography, so I don't see a problem if copyright for the photo itself has expired. --Krd 07:18, 29 August 2024 (UTC)[reply]
