This file was initially tagged by MrLinkinPark333 as Copyvio (copyvio) and the most recent rationale was: Uncolorized version is copyvio of https://obitko.com/tutorials/ontologies-semantic-web/semantic-web-architecture.html. The SVG itself appears to be self-made. What side of the idea–expression distinction do the derived components fall? King of ♥ 08:25, 24 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Yes, SVG is self-made by https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/File:Semantic-web-stack.png, this png is a public-licensed by author, but he writes that he was inspired by https://www.w3.org/2007/Talks/0130-sb-W3CTechSemWeb/#(24) which have this rules: https://www.w3.org/Consortium/Legal/2002/ipr-notice-20021231#Copyright. I not sure fully understand that page in English, so I do not understand legal status of all this images. --Nashev (talk) 11:02, 28 January 2023 (UTC)[reply]
I have send a letter to copyright@w3.org and will wait an answer here:

Hello.

Could You please clarify the legal status of an image in Wikipedia, discussed in https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/Commons:Deletion_requests/File:Semantic_web_stack.svg ?

It will be very sad for me if this file will be deleted. With best regards, Nashev.

Deleted: https://obitko.com/tutorials/ontologies-semantic-web/semantic-web-architecture.html has a clear copyright notice. This is merely a color version of that and therefore infringes. .     Jim . . . (Jameslwoodward) (talk to me) 21:29, 15 March 2023 (UTC)[reply]
