Tagged as "speedy delete" by @Gabuxae: . All the images published by El Gráfico until 1989 were kept (per Commons:Hirtle chart) while images from 1990 onwards, removed per Commons:Deletion requests/Files in Category:El Gráfico, 1990 so  Keep.

I ping users @Günther Frager: and @IagoQnsi: who participated actively on those DR and could give further information. Fma12 (talk) 17:35, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

The logs show the image was already deleted once and I can't find any undeletion requests - Gabuxae (talk) 18:12, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
So why are still such amount of files at Category:El Gráfico, 1989? They should be deleted too. Fma12 (talk) 18:54, 27 April 2024 (UTC)4[reply]
File another DR if you think they are - Gabuxae (talk) 19:06, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Delete The cutoff date is March 1, 1989. Any file that was originally published on or after March 1 is not eligible for {{PD-US-1978-89}}. This file was deleted last October as part of this DR I started, but it looks like it was more recently reuploaded. Given that it was published in September 1989, it is past the cutoff and is still in copyright in the US. There may also be a few other files in Category:El Gráfico, 1989 that need deletion – when I made that DR back in October, I only included files that I could confirm were from after March 1. –IagoQnsi (talk) 20:08, 27 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Delete As IagoQnsi pointed out the US entered the Bern Convention on March 1st, 1989. Thus, any photo published in Argentina after that date is automatically protected in the US (70 years pma). The photos published in El Grafico prior to that date were keep because we found the magazine was distributed in the US (so to delete those we would need to check they followed the US requirements at that time). See Commons:Village_pump/Copyright/Archive/2023/10#Mass_URAA_copyright_violation_of_El_Gráfico_images? for the discussion. Günther Frager (talk) 09:48, 29 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
