This is a private photo, photograph of non-Indian events. Y.haruo (talk) 16:17, 9 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is not a private photo, indications are it was taken by a stringer for Bollywood Hungama, and there is no indication that it was not taken inside India (it was, by the description, probably taken at one of the en:Bachnan family houses in Mumbai). Reventtalk 08:41, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

This is not an event photograph. Even if the photograph which Bollywood Hungama stringer took, it is not included in the permission.--Y.haruo (talk) 21:45, 11 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

@Y.haruo: The original discussion (visible in OTRS) that resulted in this license being created was not particularly specific as to what 'was' licensed, and was more specific about what types of material 'were not' licensed. The consensus that has developed over time, on Commons, is that we accept material from the "Parties and Events" section of the BH website as under the permission statement, unless there is an indication that it's not licensed for some other reason (such as the event happening outside of India). Even the 'outside of India' restriction is not stated in the original ticket, it's been added by us, over time, to avoid a class of images that proved to be problematic due to BH generally using licensed photos for such events (and then not attributing them to the source they were licensed from). Will subjects welcome this photograph? Though there are a lot of photographs of the proper event in Bollywood Hungama, I cannot understand a reason to admit the photographs which infringed on subjects right in commons.--Y.haruo (talk) 07:05, 12 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I don't think such images are considered, under Indian law, to infringe on the rights of the subjects. They were arriving at a high-profile event, where they surely expected to be photographed. Reventtalk 04:30, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
The images of Commons are available in anyone. If the person of the country with the right of privacy uses it, it is punished based on the law of the country. Because a subject may appeal in an Indian foreign territory, it does not have a meaning in Commons that India does not have the rights of the subjects. This photograph is not an event meeting place but an area inside a car. This place will not be permissible in court as the public place. This photograph is not usable freely all over the world.--Y.haruo (talk) 20:59, 14 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
You appear to be discussing possible non-copyright restrictions on possible uses of the image. Reventtalk 04:56, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
"With the exception of some restrictions relating to Commons:photographs of identifiable people and some restrictions that make it illegal for Commons to host certain works, Commons considers non-copyright restrictions to be matters for photographers/uploaders or reusers and are not grounds for deletion of works from Commons." There is no problem.--Y.haruo (talk) 06:55, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Kept: no valid reason for deletion. --Yann (talk) 12:38, 16 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
