There is not indication that this file is Creative Commons. There are no links that say its CC anywhere in the file description. The RFA website says copyright at the bottom of every page. GuyWithATelescope (talk) 13:02, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

The following files by this user also probably aren't Creative Commons: File:RFA One Starship.jpg, File:RFA employees.jpg, File:RFA One.png. The RFA Logo he uploaded is probably fine because Template:PD-textlogo fits as the license. GuyWithATelescope (talk) 13:06, 22 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
I am not completely sure about the proper way to insert images into Wikimedia and the license applying in this case. However, these images are made publicly available by RFA and non-commercially sharing these is allowed, especially when credit is given. Wikihero1977 (talk) 15:01, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Unfortunatly, any image is copyrighted unless otherwise noted as e.g. Creative Commons. So you can't just use any images you find on the Internet. The images you uploaded are copyright violations since the author of the image didn't release them under a free license. Wikimedia Commons only allows images under free licenses and there must be a proof that the image has the license (for example if the website says Creative Commons next to the image). For more information check out Commons:Licensing. GuyWithATelescope (talk) 02:49, 25 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Deleted: Presumed copyvio. Better to be safe than sorry. If users with to nominate other images, feel free. We can always undelete if COM:VRT is provided and approved. Thanks everyone for participating and if you disagree with this decision please take it to Commons:Undeletion requests - unless there is a tech issue. Thanks for assuming good faith and happy holidays!. --Missvain (talk) 16:31, 20 December 2021 (UTC)[reply]
